Amelia Salzman (environmental policy consultant) has been working to improve environmental quality through policy change for over twenty years.
She currently is providing strategic advice to a variety of environmental organizations and foundations.
Prior to going out on her own, she was the senior program officer for climate change and biodiversity for the Wallace Global Fund, during which time she also served on the steering committee of the Climate and Energy Funders Group.
Previously, Ms. Salzman served as a senior program officer in the International Policy Program at World Wildlife Fund U.S. and as a trial attorney in Policy, Legislation and Special Litigation Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Ms. Salzman has been on the board of the Echo Hill Outdoor School for the past 15 years.
She received her J.D. from New York University and her BA from Brown.
