    Daniel Salzinger has been playing with the Cobb Symphony since 2006. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dan began his violin studies with his father, Carl Salzinger, and went on to study at the Cleveland Institute of Music and played in the Cleveland Institute of Music Youth Orchestra and his High School Orchestra, where he was concertmaster during his last two years in High School. After earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance at The Ohio State University and Miami University of Ohio, respectively, Dan moved to the Washington, D.C. area, where he established a productive musical-performance schedule in regional orchestras, including the McLean Symphony, the Mount Vernon Chamber Orchestra and the World Bank Orchestra, where he performed as concertmaster. After living in Washington D.C., Dan moved back to Cleveland where he played with the Suburban Symphony Orchestra and was a Board Member and the Treasurer for the orchestra for five years.
