: Governor and Chancellor of Universities Rameshwar Thakur has appointed Prof Bijaya Kumar Sahu as the new vice chancellor of the Berhampur

Prof Sahu replaces Dr JK Baral, whose term expires on July 27.Dr Sahu is presently continuing as professor in PG department of Marine Sciences of the university.

He will hold the office for a period of three years with effect from the date he assumes office or until further orders, whichever is earlier, a Raj Bhawan communiqué said here on Friday.
