AJay Sahu Mr Sahu has been a Consultant Breast Surgeon at Frenchay Hospital since 2000. He is also the Lead Clinician for Breast Cancer Services and MDT Chair at North Bristol NHS Trust.

His Breast Unit at Frenchay hospital was rewarded with Gold Star on recent (2006) Peer Review for providing excellent service and consistently achieving above standards required by BASO and NHS Cancer Plan.

His other roles are in the teaching, training and examining of medical students and junior doctors. He is on the RCS(Royal College of Surgeons) Breast Faculty for development of breast curriculum for trainees. He is an RCS Surgical Tutor. He is an examiner of Inter-Collegiate MRCS. He also examines MBBS students.

He also teaches Ultrasound to Breast Surgeons on the Frenchay Ultrasound Course.

His interests are reading, writing and listening to light music. And yes he enjoys cricket!

Ajay Sahu is a Consultant Surgeon, specialising in the treatment of breast cancer.

He is the clinical lead for breast cancer in North Bristol NHS Trust.

The second specialist breast care nurse based at the Centre, Lin works alongside Mr. Ajay Sahu, consultant Surgeon.
