Peg RyanPeg Ryan began her first decade in production at Conde Nast Publications learning her craft as Art Production Manager working on such magazines as Vogue and Mademoiselle.The next decade brought Peg to Halo Publications.There, she became very involved in overall production including advertising production and quality control.Eventually her talents led to her promotion to Director of Manufacturing for Working Woman and Success magazines.Peg then became Director of Manufacturing for Brant Publications producing the magazines Art In America and The Magazine Antiques.Peg is currently Director of Manufacturing for Welsh Publishing Group.Welsh is noted not only for its numerous special projects such as the Forbes 400 Parody and Little League magazine and inserts in other publications, but also for children's magazines Mickey Mouse, Ducktails, Barbie, and Snoopy.Peg also manufactured the Barbie 30th Anniversary issue as well.
Peg joined the Association for Publishing Production Mangers while she was at Conde Nast.While working at Hal Publications, Peg became very involved in Women In Production, serving during 1982-83 on its Board as Membership Co-Chair.Subsequently, she gave a seminar that was so popular she had to repeat it several nights later.At the same time, she also became involved with the Graphics Communication Association.
