Kevin Rutledge, an assistant coach with the Minor Bantam Mississauga Senators of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, is remembered fondly by Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matt Stajan.

Kevin admits you have to love the game to be a coach, citing the huge time commitment, but is quick to point out that people have to coach for the right reasons.
"I like helping kids reach their goals.It's about correcting and developing, it's not about the scoreboard!A player isn't going to have 36 great games, but if he works hard, he will be rewarded."Kevin also feels it is important to get to know his players and build relationships with them, and that means making coming to the rink fun.
