Mr. Ruth's practice primarily focuses on defending private entities in the workers' compensation area in the State of Michigan.He has also represented private entities in general litigation in the State and Federal Courts in Michigan.Mr. Ruth's litigation experience includes the defense of private entities in product liability, general negligence claims and employment tort claims.While at BKF, Mr. Ruth has limited his practice to workers' compensation arena.

He received his legal degree from the Detroit College of Law (J.D. Cum Laude) in 1991 and his undergraduate from Michigan State University (B.A. 1987).He is a member of the Michigan State Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.He is a member of the Negligence and Workers' Compensation Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.
