OCEAN CITY, NJ….The City of Ocean City has applied to the New Jersey Department of Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) for grant funding to repave Central Avenue from 34th Street to 46th Street, in the amount of 1.2 million dollars.
The application was made through the Cape May County planning office.The City has been successful on several occasions in obtaining grant funds from the SJTPO for road projects, the most recent being a $986,000 grant for the repaving of downtown Asbury Avenue, from 5th Street to 14th Street.
