Elected to the Board in 2003, Mr. Russo and his wife Jill have two children.He earned an M.B.A. from Benedictine and a B.S. from the University of Illinois.Mr. Russo serves as Director of Project Management for First Alert, a manufacturer of home safety products.

Sam Russo, who has been a board member since 2003, also was re-elected.His community involvement includes the Indian Boundary YMCA Adventures Guides and Princesses programs since 2001.Newcomer Kari Altpeter, formerly a regional quality control manager with LaSalle Bank, has been a homemaker for the past 12 years and has two children in the school district.She has been on the board of directors for Partners for Parks since 2005 and was a team leader for Citizens for Educational Excellence from 2003-04.She has been a Junior Great Books facilitator since 2003; is on the Schiesher Elementary School Advisory Council since 2003 and has been a volunteer with Home Delivered Meals since 1998.She is a member of the Lisle Heritage Society, the Lisle Woman's Club, the Lisle Home and School Organization and is a Girl Scout leader."I'm excited about working with everyone on the board," she said."I look at the first year as a learning experience.
