Ida Russo, 85, of Scenic Drive, formerly of Seamans Street, Providence, a former assembler, died August 6, 2000, at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Domenic J. Russo. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Laurenzo and Teresa (Merolla) Orsini, she moved to Warwick in 1999. Mrs. Russo had been an assembler at Bulova Watch Co., Providence, for many years, before she was married in 1948. She leaves two daughters, Antoinette M. Ronzio of North Providence and Marguerite T. Costantino of Warwick ; two brothers, Lawrence Orsini and Manfred Orsini, both of Providence ; six sisters, Victoria DiMeo of Johnston, Irene Mehaffy of Providence, Dolores Annis of Oshkosh, Wis., Emily Maxwell in Massachusetts, Gilda Martinelli of West Warwick, and Theresa Orsini of Cranston ; and three grandchildren, Lisa, Donna and Michael Constantino. She was the sister of the late Oswald and Louis Orsini, Evelyn SanGiovanni and Gilda Orsini. The funeral was held from The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Jefferson Boulevard. Burial was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
