   Christine Russo-Mayer, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology Christine Russo-Mayer has been practicing Audiology for 6 years. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2003 after earning a Masters degree in Audiology from Lehman College in Bronx, New York in 1999. Dr. Russo-Mayer is certified by American Speech and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is fully licensed by New York State to dispense Hearing Aids and is certified to recommend and fit all levels of amplification that include digital hearing aids and FM systems. Her clinical expertise includes her work with pediatric through geriatric populations. In addition, Dr. Russo-Mayer is an early intervention provider affording her extensive pediatric experience that includes the special needs population. She is also a member of National Coalition of Auditory Processing Disorders and keeps current with all of the assessment and management strategies in order to assist the growing number of Auditory Processing cases. Recently she was selected for inclusion in The Metropolitan Executive and Professional Registry (www.metroexec.com) limited to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership or achievement in their occupation, industry or profession.

   In addition to the clinical Audiology practice at The Communications Center, Dr. Russo-Mayer had the pleasure of working with The Tomatis Program and other listening training programs developed for individuals with Auditory Processing, ADHD, Sensory Integration, Autism and other developmental delays. In working with these populations, Dr. Russo-Mayer has learned to focus on the WHOLE PERSON rather than just THEIR EARS. For this reason, she is also a profession member of Developmental Delay Resources (www.devdelay.org) network, in her continuing efforts to better serve individuals with special needs.
