Stephen A. Russell Senior Vice President, Corporate Steve Russell joined VSR in April 1996, with eight years experience as Executive Vice President and Operations Manager for a general securities broker/dealer. For six years he was VSR's Chief Financial Officer. His duties currently include marketing, where he is editor of The Flash, the company newsletter and operations. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2001. Mr. Russell has served on the Operations Council of the Financial Services Institute, including one year as chairman. He holds FINRA Series 4, 7, 24 and 28 licenses. Mr. Russell's prior experience includes five years in retail management and 15 years in newspaper production and management. He is a 1967 graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. degree in Journalism.
