Born July 13, 1915, in Pontotoc, Miss., the daughter of W.R. and Mary E. Davis Russell, she was a resident of Mississippi County for over 75 years and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was retired from the Blytheville Public School System, where she was a lunchroom worker at both East Junior High School and Fairview Elementary School. According to family members, she was an awesome cook, an avid puzzle worker and loved her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, her parents preceded her in death.
