Ms. Mary M. Russell

Mary M. RussellMs. Russell has been teaching for eight years, all eight of these in Fauquier County.Currently, she is a math teacher at Cedar Lee Middle School.She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mary Washington College in 1984 and a Master of Arts in Education/Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech in 2001.Ms. Russell was awarded a grant to visit Portugal for two weeks this summer to broaden her knowledge of the use of geometric transformations in ceramic tiling patterns to share with her math students and to enchance classroom teaching skills.
