During the 62 years she lived in Blue Earth, Margaret was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church serving as historian for the church and Ladies Aid, and as director of the Women's Choir. For over 30 years she sang for weddings, funerals and civic functions in Faribault County. She worked with the Girl Scouts of America serving in volunteer and professional positions. She was also a longtime member of the Mitchell Chautaugua Study Club. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Russell of Tucson, Ariz. and Janet and her husband, Angel Ruiz of Lakewood, Colo.; three grandchildren, Christine Cerrone, Rebecca Fuhrman and Paul Cerrone, all of Lakewood; and brother, Gerhard and wife Edith Bestul of Grants Pass, Ore. -
