Please join me in congratulating Gabriel Ruiz, Turf Foreman and Assistant Mechanic at Arlington Park.Gabriel has been a dedicated employee since he started at Arlington in 1991.His enthusiasm and loyalty for have been continually recognized over the years.Gabriel noticeably exemplified our "Respond and Resolve" ASPIRE quality when backstretch Security needed the tour bus repaired.The truck had not been used since last season and Gabriel had a long list of other tasks to complete.However, Gabriel had it fixed by the next day and exceeded the expectations of the Security Department.When there are repair calls, Gabriel is always on it!He repeatedly offers help without being asked and has "raised the bar" for our "Quality" value.Gabriel's pride in his work has exceeded the expectations of his internal customers.A job well done!
With this special recognition, Gabriel received an ASPIRE pin and a $250 American Express Gift Certificate.He is also eligible to be considered for the annual Brightest Star award, including a grand prize of $1,000 to be awarded later this year.
