Rabbi Shabtai Rubel teaches Chumash to the eleventh and twelfth grades.He has taught at YUHSG for over thirty years.He received his B.A. from Bar Ilan University and his smicha from Yeshivat Ponevitz in Israel.Rabbi Rubel has published many times in the YUHSG Arista Journal.Among his articles are "V'Halachta B'Drachav" and "Kedushat Eretz Yisrael."He is a recipient of the Joseph S. Gruss Award for Excellence in Teaching.
