  Michelle Rousseau is the founder and president of In The Event, Inc..With more than 12 years experience in the event planning and public relations business, Ms. Rousseau brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clients.Since returning to New Orleans in 1994, after working in both Kansas City, Missouri and New York, New York, Ms. Rousseau has honed her skills as an event and public relations professional with several organizations before forming her present company in 1997.
  
  As an Account Executive (1994-97) for Katz & Columbus (formerly Allan Katz & Associates), Ms Rousseau provided both advertising and public relations services for the firm's clients.Among them are Bally's Casino Lakeshore Resort, FarmAid, the New Orleans International Airport, Representative Arthur Morrell, Representative Edwin Murray, and former U.S. Attorney Eddie Jordan.During this time, Ms. Rousseau also served as the Festival Coordinator for both the African Heritage Festival and Rejoicin' in the Park.As the coordinator for both festivals, Ms. Rousseau was responsible for the coordination of all public relations activities including media relations, interactions with vendors and musicians, and the coordination of Senior Citizen's Day activities.
