Planned Systems International (PSI), a rapidly growing information technology solutions and services provider, announced today that Mr. David Rossetti has joined the company as Director of Proposal Development.
In this position he will oversee all proposal development activities at PSI as well as directing marketing services activities.Mr. Rossetti's extensive training and experience in the information technology (IT) and electronics field -- including marketing and program management, will serve to enhance and accelerate PSI's future expansion.
Mr. Rossetti will focus on structuring support to PSI's business development program.This includes improved opportunity identification and assessment, proposal planning and implementation, and marketing infrastructure development and utilization.In today's competitive environment, no company can afford to waste its limited resources in the pursuit of new business, states Mr. Rossetti.Just like the software development PSI provides its customers, new business is best achieved through proper planning and, to the maximum extent applicable, the tailored reuse of proven methodologies and automated tools. Mr. Rossetti will apply his experience in successfully bidding and managing government and commercial contracts to the PSI business development process.
Mr. Rossetti brings over 24 years of technical, management and business development experience to PSI.Prior to joining PSI, Mr. Rossetti served as a Program Director at ARINC, managing its Canadian Airport Information Systems development work.Prior to that, he served as the Proposal Manager for TeleCommunication Systems, Inc., an Annapolis, MD based IT company.
He also gained extensive experience supporting the U.S. Navy as an Engineering Manager at Alliant Techsystems, and a Marketing Representative at Westinghouse.Mr. Rossetti holds a BS degree from the United States Naval Academy, as well as an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.He is currently a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
Founded in 1988, PSI's staff of 200 IT professionals provides services in information and communications systems, healthcare informatics, and e-commerce to Government agencies and commercial clients.
In addition to its support of the U.S. Navy and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, PSI's major clients include DoD Health Affairs, the Department of Agriculture, the National Science Foundation, and support to State and Local Governments and commercial clients.
