Anna Rossetti to join Impact speakers roster

    July 15, 2005

Anna Rossetti, a president of Giesecke & Devrient (G&D), will be speaking at this year's Impact conference.Rossetti's direction helped to make G&D the dominant player in the Canadian marketplace after she came to the company in 1999 as vice president sales & marketing with the objective of recapturing a 30% market loss to the competition.Using her background and experience as an account executive, Rossetti brought G&D a strategic and holistic approach to sales.Using professional presentations to clients, hiring the right type of sales executives to "relationship manage", creating brand awareness and recognition in the marketplace, and increasing both existing and new business.

Rossetti boasts a wealth of corporate experience.Prior to joining G&D, she worked for Equifax Canada as a strategic account executive managing TD Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Citibank Canada accounts.Consistently exceeding marketing targets, Anna was awarded the Bank of Montreal President's Award of Excellence.

In 2002, Rossetti was appointed senior vice president and general manager for Canada, the first time in the global history of G&D that a woman was appointed to oversee an entire subsidiary operation.Rossetti's current focus is moving into the next generation of card solutions for Canada including microprocessor smart cards used for payment and high security identification. In 2004, Anna assumed her current role as president, card systems and solutions for Canada.
