   Rob Rosenberry received his Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1983. Following graduation, he worked as a staff PT at Lompoc District Hospital treating in-patients, out-patients, extended care, and skilled nursing patients. While his case load was predominantly surgical and non-surgical orthopedic patients, he also treated many patients with neurological diagnoses, burns, and open wounds. Rob was promoted to Department Head of Physical Therapy one year later and directed the provision of PT services for three years. During his tenure at Lompoc Hospital, he developed and implemented the hospital's Back Injury Prevention Program, and began to pursue specialization in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
   
   In 1987, Rob became a partner in a private practice in Lompoc and opened an office in Solvang to provide physical therapy services for the Santa Ynez Valley. As he continued to pursue specialization in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Rob developed an interest in the unique problems associated with the assessment and treatment of patients with industrial/work related injuries. In 1991, he completed an Industrial Rehabilitation Residency Program in order to increase his ability to provide better program management for those patients.
   
   In 1993, Rob went into solo practice, and began to investigate a way to provide Aquatic Rehabilitation for his patients. In 1998, he moved his office, installed his first SwimEx pool, and Â"doveÂ" into Aquatic rehab.
   
   Developing trends in physical therapy and the fitness industry in the past 10 years inspired the initiation of planning for a Â"rehab-basedÂ" specialty fitness facility. Rob believes that PTs, by virtue of their medical education and training, are the most qualified professionals to prescribe and teach exercise.
   
   On December 8th, 2003 Rob Rosenberry Physical Therapy and Performance Fitness opened their new facilities in Solvang. Rob continues to specialize in orthopedic manual therapy, visceral manipulation, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
