Before joining the firm, Melody practiced in the Litigation Section of a Washington-based law firm.She is admitted to practice in Virginia, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.She earned her B.A. in English summa cum laude (1995) from Gettysburg College.Melody was awarded her J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law, magna cum laude (1998), where she was an Articles Editor for The American University Law Review.
