   Rosenbaum Named as New United Way Executive Director
   
   Twin County United Way Board President Kay Cochran has announced Kimberly R. Rosenbaum has been hired by the Twin County United Way Board of Directors to serve as its new executive director.

   In her 13 years with the Galax Wal-Mart, Rosenbaum held several positions.
   
   For the last several years her position was floral department manager and Good Works Community Involvement Associate.
   
   In her position as the Good Works Community Involvement Associate she worked with Children's Miracle Network, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Grayson's and Carroll County Sheriffs Departments, Galax Police Department, area schools, local churches and several fire departments and rescue squads.
   
   She was in charge of setting up fundraisers and helping qualifying local agencies apply for Wal-Mart grants.
   
   For the past two years she worked closely with Twin County United Way in organizing the United Way campaign at Wal-Mart and during this past year served on the volunteer Twin County United Way Board of Directors.
   
   Rosenbaum is the daughter of Diana T. Roberts and the late Carroll G. Roberts.
