Michael has extensive litigation and appellate experience.He has appeared before the Florida Supreme Court, all five Florida district courts of appeal, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Rosen is an appellate lawyer of long experience, with an extensive background in litigation involving the defense of private landowners against state sovereignty ownership claims and regulatory takings of private property. He has represented clients on a wide variety of civil appeals and original writ petitions before the Florida Supreme Court, has appeared in all five Florida district courts of appeal and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and has presented briefs in several significant property rights cases before the United States Supreme Court. He has served on both the Appellate Rules Committee of The Florida Bar and the Public and Sovereignty Lands Committee of The Florida Bar's Real Property Section, and has published articles, participated as a CLE panelist, and presented numerous lectures on the subjects of sovereignty lands law, regulatory takings, and appellate practice.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Rosen served initially as a law clerk, and then as Executive Assistant to the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosen was Executive Director of the Florida Legal Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending disadvantaged landowners against the unreasonable regulation or confiscation of private property rights.
