   Congratulations to Terrance "Terry" L. Rose of Cambridge, Ohio fro being named the National Council of Farmers Cooperatives NCFC Youth Ambassador for 2002. Yes, Ohio has another Youth Ambassador. Terry is the fourth Youth Ambassador from Ohio in the last four years. The selection of Amanda Atkins in 1999, Chad Endsley in 2000, Libby Yocum in 2001 and now Terry, speaks very highly for the quality of youth and quality of our program.

   Terry is a senior at Muskingum Perry Vocational School where he enjoys his agricultural sciences and natural resources classes. He raises cattle and horses on an 85 acre farm and serves as the president for the Meadowbrook FFA. "I love to take on leadership roles and enjoy working with other youth", said Rose. "In this position, I will tell everyone I speak with about the benefits of cooperatives". His responsibilities will include traveling to meetings and conferences and serving as spokesperson especially to other youth. He also will help plan next year's NICE conference to be held August 4 - 7, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois.
   
   During this quarter we have collaborated with the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) to share resource material and network ideas and plans. We held a meeting in Wooster, Ohio on June 28.
