TERENCE ROSE President
Began his career as an engineering apprentice at Westland Aircraft Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, became an engineer analyzing the stress limits of structures and components used in the helicopters manufactured by Westland. Left Westland Aircraft in 1968 to undertake a new career in the investment casting industry. For 37 years, held many engineering and management positions, including five years at Hitchiner licensee APV Paramount, where he was responsible for the installation and operation of APV's first CLA casting machine at their Crawley plant in the U.K. In 1985, joined Howmet as plant manager of the Exeter Castings Operation. Since then has been responsible for many different Howmet plants, including Wichita Falls Castings, where he led the management team as they developed and implemented business plans and strategies consistent with synchronous manufacturing concepts. Recently retired from Howmet as vice president, Industrial Gas Turbines. On October 1, 2005 Terry Rose was appointed president of Hitchiner Manufacturing Co., Inc.
