    As Vice President of Marketing and Solutions for the NonStop Division at HP, Chris Rooke is responsible for the alignment of business-critical solutions, marketing, engineering, and partner management skills with the NonStop Division business plan and sales activities to drive NonStop solutions revenue.The NonStop Division designs HP's most robust products and solutions for the world's most demanding mission-critical environments.

    Before his appointment to this position in April 2001, Rooke had served as Vice President of Operations for the Business Critical Solutions Group since September 1999.In that role, he was responsible for business operations, worldwide order processing, communication operations, internal communications, the Advanced Technology Center , and linkage to Compaq corporate operations.

    Rooke held various senior positions at Tandem Computers (acquired by Compaq in 1997) in product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing and communications.In 1995, he was promoted from Director of Product Marketing to Vice President of Corporate Marketing and communications.He led the company's advertising, public relations, employee relations, creative services, corporate marketing, industrial design and human factors programs.Other responsibilities at Tandem included product marketing management functions for Tandem's European division.

    Prior to joining Tandem in 1987, Chris was a senior support analyst with Hewlett-Packard Company.
