Ernie Romero joins the Board as a native of Santa Fe. He graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1973, and from Regis College in Denver, Colorado. He practiced as a CPA for approximately 10 years, building one of the city's largest CPA practices. In 1986 he changed careers and entered the commercial real estate field. With Phase One Realty and related companies, Ernie is busy with real estate brokerage and development, but spends most of his time structuring real estate equities in multiple states. Ernie has been a member of many civic and non-profit boards and commissions over the past 30 years. He enjoys basketball, mountain biking and golf. He and wife Theresa have three children, including Ryan, class of '09.
