Strike Group Australia Pty Ltd CEO Adam Rockett confirmed today that Strike will move their Head Office from Windsor to Newstead in January 2007.
The new offices, located in Masters Street, are presently undergoing major renovations to accommodate the latest in distribution technology.
"Our new purpose built logistics facility will be state of the art, employing the latest technology" Mr Rockett said.
"It will allow us to improve our already excellent turnaround times for customers".
Mr Rockett acknowledged that "people are still a major part of the success of the business, and the success of even the best technology is dependent on those who pack and send the orders.
We are mindful of this, and we will continue to implement our first class human resources systems to ensure that our customers are getting the right stock on time, every time" he said.
The new inner city location is less than 2km from the Brisbane CBD, but still provides plenty of parking space and a comfortable reception area for customer use.
"The building is also undergoing a major office refurbishment so that the Strike team and our valued customers can enjoy the time they spend at the new location" said Mr Rockett.
"The whole facility is about 10 times larger than the old one, so not only can we offer everybody more space to work, but we can also expand our product lines to meet the increasing needs of our customers."
"Having said that" he continued, "we will not be making the mistake of holding obsolete inventory.
