SAN JOSE, Calif. - February 11, 2002 - BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS), one of the world's leading application infrastructure software companies, today announced that Rob Robless, chief technology officer of UAL Loyalty Services, Inc. will deliver a keynote address at eWorld 2002, BEA's seventh annual developer conference.Robless, who is scheduled to address eWorld attendees on Feb. 25, will discuss how UAL is using BEA technology to streamline its IT operations and make travelers' experiences more convenient, secure and safe.
As the CTO of UAL Loyalty Services, UAL Corporation's customer loyalty programs and E-Commerce subsidiary, Robless leads the development and operation of United.com and its associated wireless systems, which have won numerous industry awards for innovation and usability.Robless will share how his teams are leveraging technology to provide such services as automated check-in, self-service kiosks, Net access in airport terminals and airplanes, wireless access to travel information and other traveler-friendly services aimed at improving UAL customers' experience and overall satisfaction.
