Robison said the judge tentatively ruled to prohibit introduction of claims from other lawsuits against the police chief.In her lawsuit, Christle, a 17-year veteran of the LAPD, contends she was demoted and transferred after she complained about Berkow having an affair with a subordinate officer.
Christle also alleged Berkow hid evidence in the federal investigation into the death of rapper Christopher Wallace, also known as Biggie Smalls, after she complained.Both attorneys expressed confidence about their cases."We are happy to tee this one up. ...I think her claims are absurd," said Robison, who added he will petition the court to throw out the case Sept. 14, now that the claims have been narrowed.
