Since Maxine Robinson joined Worth Industries in 1994, she has seen fluctuations in the number of projects.

"In 1994, there were five to six jobs the workers had, and then it started to pick up to 19 jobs" at the workshop in any given month, said Robinson, general manager."But last month the workers worked on six jobs."

Ideally, Robinson would like to see the jobs bring in around $23,000 a month, but "this year we can't even make it to $16,000," she said.
