  Amy initially began her professional career in Human Resources. After undergraduate school, she worked in the human resources department of the company that operates the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. She was later involved in an internal investigations unit that investigated a variety of employee concerns including pipeline safety, systems integrity, as well as harassment, intimidation, retaliation, and discrimination complaints. Amy then went on to a successful career in recruiting and personnel management, before pursuing her law degree. This practical expertise combined with Amy's legal aptitude, provides her with distinctive insight into the needs of employers and employees in today's workplace.
