Keith Robertson Named Outstanding Board of Governors Member by The ESOP Association

Deputy Keith Robertson was the first on the scene, reportedly arriving before the juveniles could get the fire started.The juveniles had been spotted by a nearby land owner who contacted the Sheriff's Office, according to Robertson.

When he first pulled down by the river, Robertson said, the juveniles took off and hid.

Robertson said he went to a nearby home to see if they had seen the suspects.As he was leaving the residence, he stopped one of the juvenile's vehicles as it attempted to pull out of a field.

Robertson said the three vehicles behind it began to turn and go the other way, before he had the driver of the first vehicle call the others and have them return.

Four of the five juveniles were allegedly intoxicated and were served with citations.The fifth juvenile said she was not drinking because she had a test the next morning.

Once cited, the juveniles were released to their parents.

One of the units driven by Deputy Keith Robertson blew its radiator during the pursuit.

Keith, who was Deputy Chairman, has been a Caley Director for over twenty-five years.He follows the example of his father, Douglas Robertson MBE, who was Chairman in the 1980's.

In 1996 Keith, a quantity surveyor, led negotiations for us when the residential premises in Bushey were sold to the Purcell School of Music.

In addition to his work with the Caley, Keith is a Governor of Parmiters School and a member and former President of the Caledonian Society of London.

To mark his eleven years in the Chair, retiring Chairman Iain Stewart Hunter was presented with a decanter which had been used at the Schools.
