   Dr. Rose Roberts is a member of the Lac La Ronge Band.She is of Woodland Cree ancestry, originally from Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan.She holds a faculty position at the College of Nursing and currently teaches in the 4 th year stream at the Saskatoon campus.Rose holds a bachelor of nursing degree, a masters degree and a doctoral degree in Community Health and Epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan.Her research interests lie in the areas of cancer among Aboriginal communities, alternative healing modalities among residential school survivors and traditional knowledge systems.
