   Prior to Kennedy, Mr. Roberts' career included 20 years in the securities and investment banking industry, focused on the creation and finance of several REITs and a national healthcare company.He served in the U.S. Air Force (Captain) from 1963 to 1969.
   
   Mr. Roberts holds a BS degree from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce.He has been an active member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM), the Institutional Real Estate Letter Editorial Board (IREL), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
