Dr. Roberts has been active in research, teaching, engineering, and management in hydrology and hydraulics for over thirty years. His experience includes numerical and physical modeling; circulation and mixing studies of ponds, lakes, and estuaries, studies of turbulence in open water bodies, and development of the FEMA procedures and guidance documents for computing flooding levels on alluvial fans in the western states, and water supply and waste disposal system design and optimization. He has extensive experience in the planning of water resource projects such as reservoirs, dams, and hydropower facilities.

Benjamin Roberts, Senior Consultant, was formerly vice president of Anderson-Nichols and with CDM.He served as the Principal Engineer for Ocean Genetics, Inc. and as CEO of Onsite Technologies.He taught for 9 years at Stanford.
