Ben RobertsWe have selected a new host for the 2004-2005 season.Ben Roberts, an ungraduate student at SIU-C with a major in Radio/Television, is very excited to be the host for this season of Scholastic Hi-Q.Hailing from Salem, Illinois, Ben got his start in radio and television during his senior year of high school.He was enrolled in the high school's broadcasting class, which produced a school-oriented news show every morning.He also began working as an on-air personality at WJBD, the local radio station.Once in college he worked at WCIL-FM in Carbondale and also did various voice-over work.In his spare time Ben enjoys playing his guitar, spending time with his dog, and travelling back home to eat his grandma's home cookin'.
