TIANJIN, China, May 12, 2005.- Priscila Rivera is finally blossoming in the star everyone predicted when she emerged into the Dominican Women's National Team. The power hitter, who led Los Prados Club to the championship title in the Metropolitan League of Santo Domingo, was once again the main weapon of her side in a victory here. Rivera scored 28 points leading the Dominican Republic to a 3-1 triumph over the University of Nankai. Both teams were involved in a huge battle during the first set with the Dominicans finally prevailing by score of 28-26. The rest of the match went 25-22, 20-25, 25-21.
