Dr. Pablo Rivera-Ortiz
Dr. Pablo S. Rivera-Ortiz is the Management Coordinator of the PR-SSI.He is responsible for all administrative aspects of the Program including : management of the budget , coordination of activities initiative's components , and serving as liaison with the Puerto Rico Department of Education.
He worked at the Department of Education for sixteen years in different capacities : elementary , intermediate and high school level teacher , high school principal , and supervisor.He coordinated the International Science and Engineering Fair sponsored by the PRDE in 1987.He also worked at the Ana G. Méndez University System with Project C.A.U. S.A. , a Science and Math precollege program.
Dr. Rivera received a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education and a M.A. & Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Puerto Rico.He joined the PR-SSI at the Resource Center for Science and Engineering in 1995.
