    His first short film, "Just My Luck" was financed by Dreamworks at the age of 15.His work has also been exhibited at the Getty Center, Los Angeles.

    At San Francisco State University, Jorge studies the emerging interrelationship of culture, community, and the Internet with critical analysis examining the advantages and limitations of emerging Internet-media technologies.His work is not only defined by design and film training but also hisexperience working with two major movie and television studios, the Minority Activist Apprenticeship Program (MAAP), teaching street photography in East Oakland Community High School, and his ownexperiences living as a working-class, gay Latino man.
