Survivors include her parents Harold Rigdon, Jr. and stepmother Angela Rigdon, and mother Nancy Hawkins Rigdon, all of Paris.; a brother, Chad Rigdon and his wife Courtney of Paris; a stepbrother, Chase Hayworth of Paris; paternal grandparents Harold and Jane Rigdon of Paris; maternal grandfather Nelson Hawkins of Grandview; step-grandmother Catherine Haavisto of Paris; step-grandfather Dean Gill of Paris; and best friend and boyfriend Michael Keys of Paris.

A 2005 graduate of Paris High School, Miss Rigdon was currently a student at Indiana State University, majoring in athletic training.

She participated n Paris High School Spanish Club, Art Club, and yearbook her freshman year.She was employed as a clerk at Pet Smart in Terre Haute, Ind. and attended Grace Fellowship Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church and Lake Ridge Christian Church.
