  STATESBORO - Savannah State University fired baseball coach Jamie Rigdon for a pattern of misconduct, school officials told administrative law judge Chris Foster at a hearing Monday.

  Rigdon appealed his Sept. 27, 2005, firing to the State Board of Regents.The State Board of Regents referred the case to the Office of State Administrative Hearings, which administers hearings for various state agencies.
  
  Rigdon guided his alma mater to a 301-125-1 record in nine years.He is the winningest coach in any sport in SSU history.
  
  Ann Brumbaugh, lead counsel for SSU, opened the case saying evidence would show "Jamie Rigdon is a big guy who causes trouble."

  Granted, SSU has had white head coaches in other sports (former baseball coach Jamie Rigdon comes to mind), but I just don't see Wells getting the nod on this one.
