Johnny retired from a very successful automobile sales business, which he ran for 40 years. He currently works as a site contractor and a classic car and boat dealer. Johnny was employed by both the railroad and Railroad Express service in the 1950's and 1960's, and has been a Town of North Elba constable for 24 years. He currently serves as one of the two ARPS Vice Presidents.
