DAVID RICHARDSON, CFE - DIRECTOR OF INVESTIGATIONS
David Richardson joined United Risk Partners with an extensive background in the field of investigations.Mr. Richardson began his career twenty-five years ago as a Law Enforcement Specialist in the United States Air Force.After successfully completing his military service, Mr. Richardson served as a Police Officer in Portland, Maine and a Deputy Sheriff in Cumberland County, Maine.After obtaining his Private Investigator license, Mr. Richardson aggressively pursued a career in investigations.
As a State of Maine court appointed Investigator, Mr. Richardson assisted court appointed counsel in investigating homicides and other criminal matters.Throughout his career, Mr. Richardson has conducted in-depth investigations in twenty-seven states for several large national investigative firms and major insurance companies.Mr. Richardson has also worked with the U. S. State Department, working out of the U. S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium.
While directing a Special Investigation Unit for a large national insurance company, Mr. Richardson's responsibilities encompassed claimant interviews, managing and conducting surveillance assignments, conducting fraud recognition training classes, as well as the development and implementation of a national fraud tracking program.
Mr. Richardson attended the University of Maine where he majored in Business Management and Criminal Justice.He also graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy where he majored in Police Science.Mr. Richardson is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and held membership positions with the International Association of Special Investigation Units and the Chicago Claims Association.
