He was a formerly a fork truck driver for the Elsa Corp. in Elwood.

Survivors include his mother , Louise M. Rice ; a daughter , Carly Rice ; four sisters , Jeneane Gardner , Karen Embry , Marilyn Lewis and Peggy Browning ; a grandson ; and several nieces and nephews.
