Bernadette Hanley Rice , Feb. 1 , 1928 - Jan. 27 , 2001.She is survived by her husband James Blayney Rice ; her six children , Mary , James , Thomas , Lillian , Bernadette and Brigid ; and her nine grandchildren.She was an active member of St. Peter's Parish for over 40 years as well as a member of the St. Francis Guild for many years.A caring and compassionate wife , mother and friend , she touched the lives of many and will be loved and missed forever.Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Funeral Home , Manhasset.Funeral services at St. Peter RC Church.
