Chief of Police Mark Charalambous read the following after Sgt Ricciardi was sworn in: "Tina Marie Ricciardi began her employment with the agency on August 10, 1992.

On December 11, 1992, Graduation Day, Tina was presented with three awards.1) 3rd Place Academically with a 92.95 average.2) Morris County 200 Club Award.Awarded by the Academy Director and Staff, is awarded to the traine who exemplifies the Best Effort and Attitude in Overall Performance.3) The Police Training Commission Award.This is awarded to the trainee Most Likely to Succeed and is awarded by fellow classmates.

In June of 1998, Tina was reassigned to the County Narcotics Task Force where she worked the County Prosecutors Office in Undercover Narcotics Operations.Tina was returned to patrol duty in January of 2000.
In addition to her other assignmnets, in July of 1999, Tina earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Thomas Edison College.
As you can see, Tina is a hard working individual and will continue to do well in the years to come."
