Dr. P.J. Ricatto has been a research Chemist and Development Engineer at PlasmaSol since 1997. His current research is focused on the application of capillary in ring plasma technology for the surface modification of polymeric materials. He is also working with scientists and engineers from Stevens Institute of Technology on plasma based after-treatment systems of diesel exhaust, in order to remove VOC's and PMx. Dr. Ricatto received his PhD in Physical Inorganic Chemistry from the City University of New York in 1994. He also holds an M.A. in Chemistry from Brooklyn College, and a BS in Natural Science and Mathematics from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York. He has published several papers in the following areas: (1) the chemical and biological applications of nonthermal plasma and (2) Boron Acid complexation reactions. Dr. Ricatto has also been an assistant professor of Chemistry at Bergen Community College since 1994.
