Vicki Rial, exhibitions coordinator for the gallery, said Morgan's paintings are viewer-pleasers.
"His paintings are extremely colorful and lyrical, but for the most part, they are fun," Rial said.
Rial said Morgan draws inspiration from many different places.
"His wife makes quilts, and you can see her influence of textile in his paintings," Rial said.

"[Morgan's] work is a good fit for the gallery space," Rial said.

The majority of visitors of the exhibitions are students, Rial said.The gallery also receives visits from retired Tuscaloosa residents, residents of Birmingham and Montgomery and some elementary school classes.
"We ... like to give children and adults with special needs the opportunity to come in and view the exhibits," Rial said.
